My mom told me about some dogs who live in a shelter and doesn’t have many toys. So I went to the store to buy toys for them.

My mom brought me this bag. She said “ You need to bag these toys up so we can take them to a place called the shelter”.

I just looked at the big bag and gave my mom the “help me” look and she helped me put them in the bag.
|
|
|
Just checking....yep the bag is almost full...Mom... there is still room for a few more. So we filled it to the top.

Ok Mom, the bag is filled. Let’s take the bag to all those doggies...imagine not having any toys! That is doggie abuse!!!

Here is the shelter where these dogs live. Its a very nice place...alot of doggie smells here.

They even have a welcome sign for me...well ok maybe just not for me. But they welcome everyone. Have you checked out your local shelter? I am sure they are friendly there too!

Is this cat checking me out? No, just wants my bag of toys! Never trust a cat! Well I guess they want toys to play with also. Ok, I will share.

This is Megan, she helps run this place. She was so happy to get this bag of toys to give all the dogs. She said they are always looking for donations.

I wanted to have a picture taken with my mom, but my new friend was calling me!
“Woof, Woof”, he wants me to come and play!
|

So mom let me go outside and talk with my new friend. I told him that a suprise was coming. He said he would pass the word to the other doggies and that made my tail wag with happiness.

Ok, back to the picture taking....Mom said I should not stick my tongue out at the camera, but I did it anyway!
What a fun day! I encourage you all to donate to your local shelter or rescue...it might make your tail wag too!
